6 Configuring MyID for VSC issuance

To configure MyID to issue VSCs, you must carry out the following:

• Check that the appropriate Windows services are available.
• Set the MyID configuration options.
• Assign the required workflows to the appropriate roles.
• Set up a credential profile for VSC issuance.

You may also need to carry out the following:

• Set up parent/child credential profiles.
• Set the COM+ transaction timeout.
• Set the VSC initialization delay.

This chapter describes the necessary setup for each of these requirements.
